It was less than a month ago when they reign as Binibining Pilipinas 2014 Queens, the newly crowned beauty queens hold a thanksgiving in the form of an outreach program .
Last week, April 30, 2014 Bb. Pilipinas winners in cooperation with Dairy Queen Philippines jointly organized the “Queens Give Back” charity event at the Gateway Mall benefiting 100 kids from the Dio cese of Novaliches Pastoral Care for Women and Children.
More than their pretty faces, the girls displayed golden hearts as they spent a whole morning giving love and attention to the orphaned and abandoned children. Showing their full support were Miss Universe Philippines 2014- Mary Jane Lastimosa, Bb Pilipinas International 2014 – Bianca Guidotti, Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2014- Parul Shah, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental –Kris Tiffany Janson, Bb. Pilipinas Supranatural Yvette Santiago, Bb. Pilipinas 1st Runner up –Laura Lehmann and Bb. Pilipinas 2nd Runner up-Hannah Sison, together with executives of Dairy Queen Philippines.
The event sought to give comfort and positive experiences to the orphaned kids of House of Refuge. The Binibini’s he joined in on the fun and party games with the kids. The kids were also treated to the magic show , bubble show, face painting and feeding program . School supplies were given to all the 100 kids to equipped them for the coming school year. Topping of the treats each kid were able to savor Dairy Queens newly blizzard of the month , the Nuttela blizzard that comes in two variants Waffle Crisps and Banana.
“The event is also Dairy Queen’s thanksgiving , and a way to give back following a successful 8 years in the country. With 73 stores and a growing expansion all over the Philippines, we found it fit to further our efforts in corporate social responsibility.. And what better way than to have the newly crowned Bb. Pilipinas beauty Queens inspire children from the “House of Refuge” shared Lorent Adrias Marketing Manager for Dairy Queen Philippines..
