Pontecelli, A Taste of Italian Living -For the Middle Income Family

IMG_8087
Would you believe that this project is just for the Middle income to the Class A of today’s generation. Year 2000 this project is almost being snob on the community of many builders, Yet few day’s ago as I visit and check Poticelli, this has been very different from the  reality of the City of Manila. Today, this City built by Vista Land Company has been one of the Top and considered Mini Mansions in the South bound of Manila.
Going home after work will ease the pressures since the place and its amenities has been to cool and makes you feel your on a travel at the doors of your homes and community itself.
Welcome home to Ponticelli. Ponticelli, Cavite's Little Italy. Bring to life visions of grand balls and intimate soirees with the elegant homes here at Ponticelli. Evocative of the original Italian countryside towns, this 18-hectare enclave gets its name from the Italian words ponti meaning bridge, and celli meaning skies.
IMG_8075 IMG_8076
IMG_8062 IMG_8078
A proud development of Crown Asia, Ponticelli is characterized by the impression of the beautiful, sloping terrain meeting the serene skies. Homes exude the radiance of a relaxed lifestyle and the appeal of a holiday destination where spending time away from the bustling city life does not mean you have to travel so far.
IMG_8107 Offering a dramatic flair to the rich history of Italian-style homes, Ponticelli creates the perfect place for family and friends to gather. Everything is within reach. The strategic location of Ponticelli is a mere 5 minute drive from the commercial and major business district of Alabang; while the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) as well as other major routes and highways are just a few minutes away. Ponticelli is also a few minutes away from various entertainment places, like the Alabang Town Center, Festival Mall, Molito Alabang and SM Molino. Ponticelli is also close to schools, membership clubs, golf courses, business hubs, as well as health care and medical facilities. There is also a shuttle service within the community that can take you to Ortigas and Makati. Vista Land Chairman Manny Villar led the launch of the multi-billion pioneering project at the Evia Lifestyle Center in Daang Hari Road, Las Piñas City.
IMG_8080
The company spend around P50 billion in the next four years for the development of Vista City, Vista Land's most ambitious development yet which houses Lifestyle Retail, Prime Office Space, University Town, Themed Residential developments and other leisure components. The project covers a total of 1,500 hectares strategically located where Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Laguna and Cavite meet. Vista City is expected to play a major role in the development of the mega-metropolis for strengthening its own growth and increasing revenue opportunities.
IMG_8081
A community with a lifestyle like no other. Just after the community’s main entrance is the clubhouse where homebuyers can hold gettogethers and other private functions. Wellintegrated amenities such as playing courts, swimming pool, children’s playground, parks and pocket gardens are conveniently placed and put the last touches on lifestyle of comfort homebuyers have always wanted. Home sweet home. Available for varying needs and tastes, the home design selections of Ponticelli are inspired from classic Italian architecture.

IMG_8104
And so we continue to grow. Since its birth, Ponticelli has attracted the most distinguished set of buyers: Overseas Filipino Workers, entrepreneurs, and high-ranking employees. Because of the community’s quality homes, Ponticelli became the benchmark of noticeable elegance and grandeur of subdivision developments in the area. Ponticelli homes exemplified commanding aesthetic value which made Phase 1 a phenomenal success. And by 2009, it was imminent to follow the success of Phase 1 with another promising development, Ponticelli Hills. Phase 1 and 2 were cultivated passionately. It is where necessity, beauty, and joyful memories breathe side by side. With all of these desirable selling points, it is only apt for Ponticelli to expand once more. Now on its third phase, this community continues to provide not only a home but a lifestyle like no other.

Aguinaldo Shrine Comes to Life

IMG_4217

Last July 11,2015 at the eve of the 117th day of Philippine Independence day , we as a group of Media together with the DOT Securetary and LGU of Kawit comes on in this day of showing to the press and its entities the 1st Video Mapping that would be one of a kind that will be happening on Aguinaldo Shrine. and  As part of the 117th Philippine Independence celebration, the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Local Government of Kawit, Cavite have partnered for the monumental lighting and video mapping show of the iconic Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit Cavite, in order to raise the standard of monument lighting an presentation of buildings.

The 16th century national monument will be seen in a completely new light , through an audio-visual staging that makes use of video mapping technology. Also known as “projection mapping” or spatial augmented reality, video mapping uses digitally-produced images based on the architectural lines of a structure to tell a story, create an impression, and bring any structure into life.

IMG_4237

The public viewing of the lighting and video mapping show begins on June 11 and will be on a special limited run until June 15. The shows are scheduled to take place every 7:30pm, 8:30pm ,and  9:30pm. In between the video mapping show, guest can also view the permanent lighting with sounds of the historical structure.

“The lighting and video show of the Aguinaldo shrine is the first time that it will be displayed on a national heritage site in our country. A State-of-the Art , avant- garde show of our history, i will tell the story of who we are as a people in a single, fluid, audio visual narrative”. DOT Region IV-A Dir. Rebecca V. Labit said.

IMG_4218

A formal ceremony will be held on June 15, also the final public viewing and last day of this Independence Day feature, and will be attended by Government Officials, tourism stakeholders, members of the academe, members of the diplomatic corps, historians and heritage experts, media representatives and influential personalities.

“More that a hundred years ago, the Aguinaldo Shrine was a witness to one of the most critical junctures in Philippine history- the declaration of a free Filipino nation. Being an  important edifice  of our national identity, It is a living reminder of the freedom that our ancestors have fought and longed for , and the monument of the success that our country has achieved since then. It is our honor to lead this Independence Day celebration using a new technology such as video mapping to relive and re-imagined the beginning of our country’s independence,” DOT Secretary Ramon R. Jimenez Jr. said.

The 14,000 square foot heritage mansion was the ancestral residence of the Aguinaldo’s and the birthplace of  Emilio, who later became the General and the fist Philippine president. The residence was declared a National Heritage Shrine shortly after the death of Emilio Aguinaldo in 1964. Constructed in 1845 from wood and thatch materials the Aguinaldo Shrine has seen various reconstructions in 1849 and during the early 1920’s. It’s most historic spot known as the “Independence Balcony” saw the end of the three hundred-year Spanish colonial rule in the Philippines and the birth of the First Philippine Republic.

“Through this project, our foreign and domestic tourist will have a deeper understanding for the many heritage destinations around the country. It is our hope to encourage the private sector and other stakeholders to work together in conserving both our tangible and intangible cultural heritage for the next generation of Filipinos to see and appreciate. Our achievements today are tooted and founded on our past. And our history and national heritage are integral to the continuity of our national identity.” Secretary Jimenez added.

IMG_4241

The lighting and video mapping of the Aguinaldo Shrine is a project of the DOT through the LGU of Kawit, Cavite and implemented by the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) and Optimum Show Philippines, Inc. The project is also supported by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP).

MANILA IMPROV FESTIVAL 2015 TO BE HELD ON JULY 2-12

Filipino performers specially this group SPIT does stand out even in the foreign land . The group join the Improv Festival  where it was known Internationally was such a step of  making this artist show what they have had known and likewise be seen in any area of the world. This coming month they will make it happen here in Manila part of helping the country's economy and making the industry live once again.

Silly People’s Improv Theatre (SPIT) is the country’s premiere improvisational theatre group known for their smart and incisive brand of comedy. Considered as one of the best improv comedy troupes in Asia, SPIT has had almost a thousand performances in the last decade to both local and international audiences whose combined numbers easily run up to the thousand. SPIT has represented the Philippines in the Los Angeles, Beijing and Hong Kong Comedy Festivals, and the Improv Festivals in New York and Chicago, and more recently, the Amsterdam Improv Festival in January of this year.

Improvisational theatre is a form of theatre where scenes are co-created by the audience and the actors in real time, without the benefit of a script or prior rehearsals for the performers. Because of this method, watching an improvised theatre show is more akin to performance art due to its non-conventional approach.

This year, Manila International Improv Festival 2015 is happening on July 2-12, 2015. This performance art festival is a partnership with two prominent Philippine institutions. Silliman University in Dumaguete will host our Tropical Improv Camp from July 2-5, and the Philippine Educational Theatre Association (PETA) will be our partner venue where all theatre performances will be held on July 8-12, 2015.

Our performance art fair is hosting improv comedy groups from around the world: PIP Show (Warsaw), Impro Mafia (Brisbane), Pirates of Tokyo Bay (Tokyo), Landry & Summers (Los Angeles), To Be Continued, People’s Liberation Improv, 3 Dudes Improv and Lamb Ink (Hong Kong), The Improv Company (Singapore), Taichung Improv (Taichung), The Beijing Collective (Beijing), People’s Republic of Comedy and Zmack (Shanghai), Bacolod Improv Group (Bacolod), Dulaang Atenista (Cagayan de Oro), One and a Half Men, Switch Improv, and SPIT (Manila).

Now on its third run, we are proud to say that the Manila Improv Fest has earned the distinction of being the “improv comedy festival that has set the standard for improv comedy festivals” according to one of our festival regulars, Curt Mabry of Zmack, Shanghai.

This year’s festival theme is “Finding the Game”- a nod to the games and exercises that improvisers use in performance, and an affirmation of the playful nature of improvisation.

Silliman University plays host to our conference component, which is a gathering of improvisers who have taken the principles of improv theatre and have used it as a method for facilitating learning events including corporate and organisational settings. In partnership with the Applied Improvisation Network which counts Gabe Mercado as the very first Filipino board member, this is the second year we are incorporating this particular track to the festival, after a well-received run in Casa San Pablo, Laguna in 2013, having 30 applied improv practitioners from London, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United States and Manila in attendance. Apart from a mutual exchange among participants on their experiences on the myriad applications of improvised theatre techniques ranging from the fields of the visual arts, to education for learners with special needs, delegates experienced the rich culinary culture and the centuries-old craftworks of Laguna.

This year, we have chosen Silliman University, Dumaguete as our venue for the conference to highlight two things from this destination- their distinguished literary heritage and the pristine beaches lining the province. Needless to say, our international delegates were drawn to the promise of sea and sand, as we expected them to be.

The PETA-PHINMA theatre will be home to our festival performers and have been quite invested in our preparations. Our joint marketing efforts is poised to attract at least 5,000 guests to the 25 performances we have scheduled, and about 500 delegates to the workshops we have meticulously curated together with our international performers. Concurrent with our performances and workshops, we have exhibitors present at the venue that will showcase their products and services to our festival guests.
