The Bistro Group, the home of the country’s finest international and homegrown casual dining brands, is launching its latest campaign, Taste the Love. The campaign invites diners to taste the love behind every restaurant concept launched and every international chain brought to local shores, in every innovative dish prepared, and with every service rendered with a smile.

The campaign celebrates a series of milestones for The Bistro Group, namely the opening of 50 restaurants spread across 12 concepts, the appointment of Corporate Chef Josh Boutwood, and the launch of its Premiere Card.

The latest restaurant to join the group is Modern Shanghai, which brings authentic recipes from the region and serves them in a homey, comfortable environment. It joins Watami, a top food and beverage restaurant in Japan, the first Village Tavern branch outside the US, and Japanese-Western restaurant Ma Maison. The four are the latest international chains brought to the Philippines by The Bistro Group, rounding out its restaurants.

Aside from new dining locations, the arrival of Chef Boutwood has seen the launch of new dishes, such as Black Pizza, Sesame Teriyaki Chicken Wings, and Fully Loaded Sweet Potato Skins at Village Tavern, and the a la carte Katsu Menu at Ma Maison.

Says Lisa Ronquillo, AVP Marketing of The Bistro Group, “Taste the Love is not just about food. It’s about the heart and the passion that goes into everything we do, from our concepts to our locations to our service to of course, our food. By focusing on creating a dining experience that diners will want to repeat and share, we allow our customers to taste the love from the moment they get hungry and think about our restaurants to the time they have polished off every bite.”


As a way of saying thank you to loyal customers, The Bistro Group is also launching the Premiere Card, which offers multiple discount offers up to 40% off the total bill; complimentary appetizers, coffee, and tea; as well as birthday treats for the cardholder.

In addition, for the month of hearts, The Bistro Group is offering an exclusive deal for Citibank cardholders. From February 4-7, cardholders will receive 50% off food and beverage orders worth at least P2,500, with a discount up to P5,000.

It was a nice chat with Chef Josh the corporate Chef of The Bistro group, who does his craft very well and his approach is not limited only to his own knowledge on the line of cooking but does get to know the culture and menus of the Filipino dishes.

Chef Josh Boutwood is the Bistro Group’s new corporate chef, having been appointed in the position in late 2012 after serving as a consultant. The Filipino-British Chef studied at the Escuela de Culinario Mojacar in Spain, and apprenticed under French Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons in England. He has worked in various restaurants in Spain, Denmark, and Sweden, most notably at Noma, touted as one of the best restaurants in the world by San Pellegrinos’ 50 Best. Upon his return to the Philippines, he set up his own restaurant in Boracay before joining The Bistro Group. He also won several awayds at the 3rd Philippine Culinary Cup. Chef Boutwood is behind such signature dishes at the Bistro Group of restaurants such as Black Pizza, Sesame Teriyaki Chicken Wings, and Fully Loaded Sweet Potato Skins at Village Tavern, and the a la carte Katsu Menu at Ma Maison.

“Boeing, Boeing” Bounces @ ONSTAGE with 3 Sexy Ladies




I was at the gala premiere of the said stage play and I am so impressed with the performance our artist delivered and I am convinced that Filipino talents are capable of doing plays that is perfect and ready to compete with International scene. I almost break my jaw laughing and waiting for every scene of what’s going to happen next .

Jennifer Bianco, Carla Dunareanu, Giannina Ocampo Boeing, Boeing is a sex and comedy play that is about a guy who managed to have 3 flight attendants girlfriends of different airlines,  who has lived in past century where Internet connections, Cell phones and other related technologies does not exist. Their means of communication is by telephone land  lines and mails only . See how the 3 girlfriends almost see and clash but somehow with the help of his friend and maid he escape  from a devastating situation.


Repertory Philippines’ 46th season opens with three unbelievably gorgeous girls in BOEING BOEING, the ultimate in high-flying comedy.

GIANNINA OCAMPO is lovely as the Sophia Loren-ish Italian Gabriella, CARLA DUNAREANU is outlandish as the über German Gretchen and JENNIFER BLAIR BIANCO is lusty as the American Gloria. In their figure-hugging stewardess uniforms, high heels, and jaunty hats, they are sure to bring us back to the time when men fantasized about air hostesses.

As international flight attendants for different airlines, the trio have different flight schedules coming into and out of Paris. This works out to the advantage of Bernard, an American architect based in the city, who learns to juggle their timetables so that he can carry on engagements with all three beautiful ladies. All this to the consternation of his faithful housekeeper, who also has to juggle décor and cuisine to suit the tastes of the German beauty, Italian enchantress, and American dream girl.

Bernard boasts of his shenanigans to an old classmate who comes to visit. Unfortunately, just then, a faster Boeing jet is introduced, turning the timetables topsy-turvy and causing a collision course between Bernard, and his fiancées, friend, and housekeeper.

DAVID BIANCO is athletic playboy Bernard, while TOPPER FABREGAS is Robert, Bernard’s boyhood friend, newly arrived from Wisconsin. Rounding off the cast is stage veteran and multi-awarded actress Baby Barredo as Bertha, the housekeeper, with stage stalwart Joy Virata as alternate.

Winner of the 2008 Tony Award and Drama Desk Award for Best Revival of a Play, BOEING BOEING (by Marc Camoletti and translated from the original 60’s-set French play by Beverley Cross and Francis Evans) is directed by Miguel Faustmann.

January 24, 2013, Alabang, Muntinlupa CityLamoiyan Corporation formally launched today several activities in line with its 25th anniversary and showcased its accomplishments to celebrate this important milestone.

Carrying the theme "Giving Hope, Sharing Hapee Smiles," no less than the company's President and CEO, Dr. Cecilio K. Pedro, revealed Lamoiyan Corporation’s 25th anniversary audio-visual presentation, and also led the briefing to showcase its achievements for the past 25 years.



Dr. Pedro, together with another key executive from Lamoiyan Corporation, Peter Paul Ang, Assistant Vice President for New Business Development, also bared details about several activities currently in the pipeline in relation to its 25th anniversary, which includes tie-ups with organizations such as the Philippine Dental Association (PDA) for its nationwide medical/dental missions. These activities will be conducted in key cities in the Philippines with the support of Lamoiyan’s trade partners.

The event also coincided with the company's three-day National Sales Convention that aims to empower and build a stronger business partnership with its valued trade partners.

Themed "Silver," which is also in line with the commemoration of the company's 25 years in the business, this annual conclave serves as a fitting tribute to their trade partners’ substantial contributions to Lamoiyan Corporation’s continued growth. The event also gives the trade partners a preview of Lamoiyan Corporation’s goals and programs for the year, and allows them to look back at the firm’s historic past and further foster camaraderie with one another.

“We believe that celebrating our silver anniversary amid this convention is the perfect opportunity for us to show what God has done for a Christian-Filipino company in a highly competitive oral care industry. With our trade partners present, together we will walk the path to victory,” Dr. Pedro said.

Lamoiyan Corporation traces back its roots in 1988 when Dr. Pedro decided to establish a 100% Filipino-owned firm that manufactures toothpastes, then the domain of multinationals. Las Flores (Spanish Delicacies)





HOLA!!! Most of the Spanish cuisines are being found in a very unique and classy Resto such as Las Flores.  Its one that caters good Catalan cuisine from the Mediterranean’s. We are proud and lucky enough to be at this place to experience such taste and grandeur of the place. Found @ BGC Taguig City.


Our group enjoyed the tasting of the foods and the cocktails as well. We taste every bit of it and somehow cannot help but talk about how we like the foods that has been served and the ambience of the place .
