Christmas
at Marriott has officially begun! The hotel’s annual tradition of welcoming the
festive season with a Christmas Tree Lighting was a joyous occasion filled with
dazzling surprises and treats. Opening the night is a performance from the main
cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, a must-see family musical at Resorts World
Manila. Setting the festive mood even higher are enchanting carols from Colegio
de Santa Rosa’s Himig Roseña.
Marriott’s General Manager Bruce Winton, joined
by some kids of their partner beneficiary Philippine School of the Deaf, lit up
the stunning 20-ft high Christmas tree. It signaled the opening of the most
wonderful time of the year in the hotel. This includes the arrival of their
life-sized gingerbread train at the lobby that carries delightful goodies and
hampers that are now available for purchase.
Aside
from the decked and glittering exteriors and interiors, Marriott embodies the
true spirit of Christmas which is all about giving. They launched their Spirit
to Serve charity initiatives of raising funds for their partner foundation,
Philippine School for the Deaf.
Anyone can take part and be a Santa this season
either from purchasing the “Billy’s Hat” for Php 400 each that comes in four
different designs or indulging in their 6-course 12 Hands Menu for Php 3,500 at
Cru Steakhouse.
There’s
no place like home for the holidays and Marriott Manila’s bunch of treats and
wonders will surely make you feel at home. Mark those calendars, prepare the
nice list and head over to the hotel for a spectacular holiday experience.
