Trend Micro and SM Cyberzone Promote Internet Safety among Kids and Teens

Trend Micro Philippines partners with SM Cyberzone to promote Internet security among kids and teens which is one of the primary intention of regulating sites that is not conducive for the minors per se.The intention is good and relevant nowadays considering mobile, tabs and ipads are becoming the major gadgets for studying and book is released through this platforms within the field of education and research.

In line with its ongoing advocacy to build a safe online environment for kids and teens, Trend Micro Incorporated, the global leader in online security solutions, partnered with SM Cyberzone to spread awareness on how to safeguard oneself through online safety practices. A series of road shows were held at SM Cyberzones across Metro Manila:  SM Marikina, SM Southmall, and SM Sta. Mesa.

The interactive booths reached some thousand young Filipinos who tried their hand at a social media persona quiz, protected their Facebook profiles with the Trend Micro Titanium Privacy Scanner and spoke to Trend Micro volunteers about the importance of maintaining a good online reputation to promote the What’s Your Story contest
