National University Pep Squad donates to SM Cares for Yolanda Survivors

Yesterday, September 18, 2014 – I was one of the Media / Bloggers who are invited to witness and cover the National University (NU) Pep Squad held a thanksgiving  celebration held at NU Auditorium University Belt Manila for bagging the championship at the 77^th UAAP Cheerdance Competition. The group has presented some of their winning moves and stunts and was perfectly been executed without.

The NU gymnasium was filled with students and professors, together with SM executives to personally meet the champions. Applause and cheers welcomed NU Pep Squad during the repeat performance of their winning performance. Students and Faculties celebrates and gives full support for their heroes for the last UAAP Cheerdance  competition and this gives them a chance to be known as one of the most competitive schools in the Metro.


The overwhelming support from their alma mater , a heart that is willing to give and a mentor that shows example and dedication  led  NU Pep Squad in donating a portion of their prize winnings to the Yolanda survivors through SM Cares Yolanda Housing Project. This is their way of giving back to the community and helping those who are in need.
SM Cares is committed to build 1,000 houses to help Yolanda survivors. These houses are designed to be disaster-resilient with concrete ceilings and plenty of ventilation.

Disney on Ice and the Araneta Center call on kids to ‘Dare to Dream’ !!!

LG Electronics brings a PH basketball first—‘Asian Basketball Showdown’

Korea’s season champion LG Sakers to battle eight-time PBA champion Barangay Ginebra

This coming September 9, an epic basketball rivalry will take place as global technology leader LG Electronics brings a first in Philippine basketball—the ‘Asian Basketball Showdown.’

Bringing together two basketball-loving countries who are long-time archrivals in the international basketball arena, crowd-favorites and multiple titleholders—Korea’s Changwon LG Sakers and Philippines’ very own Barangay Ginebra San Miguel—will clash on the court on September 9, 2014 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Manila Boys’ Town division chief Jean Ramos also acknowledged the significance of sports to children’s growth. Ramos said in the vernacular: “Playing sports like basketball helps boost the kids’ morale. Aside from making them physically fit, they are also able to make friends and develop meaningful relationships along the way.”
Ramos furthered, “Support from private institutions like LG Electronics greatly helps in sustaining our operations. On behalf of Manila Boys’ Town, we would like to thank LG Electronics for your generous donations and helping us promote sports among the kids.”
Kids from the orphanage were also able to partake in a basketball clinic facilitated by no less than the players and coaches from the Changwon LG Sakers.

We as a group enjoyed our foods here and has satisfactorily approved the quality of freshness and its kind of preparations it has for the kind of kicks and  almost same as our Asian counterparts.Though I want to try the wild one because I’s a spicy eater, yet  I should go with my spicy eating friends one time for us to taste their kind of menu. I am much more amazed on how they have given it in a very friendly price, imagined for example a Class A  Tiger Shrimp is only 400++/ lb , and  as being presented for other recipes from P299 up to P800 / serving/ lb.
