Fashion Evolution, the Metro Blogger Edition Model Finalists Revealed!

Rigorous go-sees and screening done, the next step for Metro Blogger’s fashion show cum runway model search entitled “Fashion Evolution” finalists are now down to 44

MANILA, Philippines – February 28, 2015 - Save the date: March 28, 2015 is the day of the great reveal, when out of the 44 finalists, one male and one female model will emerge the winners at the fashion show cum runway model search entitled “Fashion Evolution” a must-attend event mounted by Metro Blogger, the Philippines’ newest social circle for bloggers around the metro.
Last January, more than one hundred hopefuls filled the go-see venue as excitement started to rise for the show which Metro Blogger will do for the first time as a special Bloggers’ Night Out event. Last year, when Metro Blogger was founded, it came up with Bloggers’ Night Out which was a fun, face-to-face mingling event among bloggers. The organization aims to serve as an avenue for disseminating information on event invites, new products, campaigns and services to a diverse group of members with different interest but share the same passion in blogging.
“In today’s highly connected world, blogging matters. It has now become a significant source of online buzz with consumer interest in blogs continuing to grow,” Mr. Jess C, Metro Blogger founder said. “Metro Blogger is a special community for bloggers. All 22 male and 22 female model finalists will have lots of chances to strut their stuff before the final night. This February, a photo shoot, a press conference and a meet and greet session will give these contenders more than one chance to wow their followers and judges prior to the finals, which will be held at the Century City Mall, Makati.

Ian Mallabo, Dino Bancoro, Jian Lasala, Yves Camingue, Hanna De Los Reyes and Charles Anito will all be debuting their latest fashion collection during the fashion show.
Two winners, one male and one female, will each receive cash prize plus an all-expense paid 4days/3nights trip to Singapore complete with a photo shoot project with Singapore fashion brands. They will also receive a one-year fitness contract with Slimmers World Philippines.

Century Tuna unveils Superbods Super Website Challenge

A New website features daily diet and workout plan was launched last April 3, 2014 in Solaire Manila which aim is to  designed to show that everybody can be  a  SUPERBOD….

Now that summer is just around the corner, it’s once again time to get the perfect body -- toned and fit for this much-awaited season. And to help everyonnde get started on the road to fitness, Century Tuna has unveiled the My Road to Superbods website (http://www.centurytuna.ph/superbodschallenge), an online portal featuring a daily diet and workout plan, put together by two of the country’s most trusted and most popular fitness experts.
Developed for loyal consumers of Century Tuna, the website was created to guide everyone on the road to their personal transformation as Superbods.

“We all know that Century Tuna Superbods is one of the most awaited summer events in the country and this year, we’re making it even more exciting by enjoining our consumers to be part of the Superbods experience,” said Greg Banzon, General Manager of Century Pacific Food Inc.

The website will have two main components – the Century Tuna Superbods Meal Plan by top dietitian Nadine Tengco, and the Century Tuna Superbods Workout Plan by Coach Jim Saret.




Nadine is a US-certified fitness nutritionist who designed the Detox-in-a-Bottle. Initially developed in 2009 for her celebrity clients, the program became hugely popular. The soups and juices had since been standardized and are now being prepared by her partners and distributors. Meanwhile, Coach Jim is the founder and training director of APEX (Athletic Performance Enhancement) Sports Training. A former National Athlete, he completed his Master's Degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training at Brigham Young University in the United States. While in the US, he worked with elite olympic athletes, professional athletes, world-class sports science/sports medicine specialists and training centers.
On the Meal Plan page, Nadine will share recipes – some of which include Century Tuna products – that everyone can follow. Binibining Pilipinas Proclaims New Queens for 2014

Binibining Pilipinas, the country’s most prestigious beauty pageant, proclaimed its new queens for 2014 in a glamorous, highly-charged show at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last March 30.
The pageant was a star-studded affair with the participation of Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler and Russian singer-songwriter Emin. Gabriela led this year’s Board of Judges, while Emin serenaded the candidates with his hits. ABS-CBN stars Xian Lim and Anne Curtis, and beauty queens Shamcey Supsup, Venus Raj, and Janine Tugonon hosted the event.

Binibinis Heat Up Big Dome with Annual Fashion Show

 

The 40 Candidates elegantly paraded their National costumes last night, March 6, 2014 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum as they rock the runway of the Binibining Pilipinas 2014 Fashion Show.

                       

Audiences hotly anticipated who will follow the fabulous footsteps of Shamcey’s Tsunami Walk, Janine’s Cobra Walk, Ariella’s Ariba Walk, and Johanna’s Salagubang Walk, to sash their way into representing the Philippines in the world’s most prestigious beauty pageants.

It was a fashion extravaganza like no other, with a display of elegance and grace from the 40 Binibining Pilipinas 2014 candidates donning cultural dresses in the National Costume competition. Then the girls showed off their fierce walk and strutted down the big Dome’s catwalk clad in sexy JAG jeans and accessories from the Binibini collection.

The Fashion show was only one of the many exciting activities on the lead up to the Binibining Pilipinas Grand Coronation Night on March 30. The ladies will be launching their Swimsuit  Photo Exhibit at the Gateway Cinema Lobby on March 15 and will be holding the much awaited Parade of Beauties around the Araneta Center on March 22. The 40 candidates will also take part in various charitable missions and outreach programs under Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc and its partners.
