May , 2014, Manila Philippines, The stage is set for the much awaited conclusion of the search for young Filipino beauties who will embody and champion environmental advocacies as Miss Teen Earth and Little Miss Earth Philippines as they move closer to the finals night,

Such kind of purpose and ideas  makes this talented young teenagers and sweet intellectual little girls to know,  be aware , and participate of the problems with regards to environmental  specially the cause and effects of climate change and in the process move them to give solution , help victims  and in their own little way be an example to the whole world for their deeds and contributions.

Pre-finals activities like one day session with the Masters School for Models marked the final stretch of the finalist journey towards crown. The modeling school has been credited for the success of many internationally acclaimed models today including Philippines very own and Ford Models’ Supermodel of the World 2011 , Ms. Danica Magpantay.

The finalist also got a chance to be part of Project Headshot Clinic wherein they were photographed, along with personalities from different industries like Lorna Tolentino, Liz Uy, Tessa Prieto Valdez, Rajo Laurel, Roby Carmona, Alex Gonzaga, Elmo Magalona, Maxene Magalona, Louise Delos Reyes, Kris Bernal, Julie Ann San Jose, Shalani Soledad, Senator Pia Cayetano and 2013 Ms. Universe 3rd Runner-up Ariella Arida, as part of the awareness campaign to promote Earth preservation. 

The top 40 candidates, representing major cities and provinces from all over the country, have been trained by renowned pageant experts and veterans including 2011 Ms. Universe third runner up Shamcey Supsup Lee and “Queen maker” Jonas Gaffud.

The Ms. Teen Earth and Liftle Ms. Earth Phils. is supported by PLDT HOME Telpad, the world’s first lanline, broadband, and tablet in one. During the finals night, a special candidate will be selected for the PLDT HOME Telpad Choice Award. The night’s winning beauties will also take home a PLDT HOME Telpad subscription as part of the prizes.

The Ms. Teen Earth and Little Ms. Teen Earth Philis 2014 Grand Pageant Night will be held on May 27 at the SM MOA Arena. Internationally renowned production group Runway Productions will be in charge of the night’s affairs, while former UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe , member Jeffery Rogador choreographs.

The finals night will also feature top-calliver performers including Joey Ayala, Bayang Barrios, Gloc 9, Jay-R, La Diva , Kyla and Hail Mary the Queen Children’s Choir. Beauty Queens Shamcey Supsup-Lee (Bb Pilipinas Universe 2011), Patricia Fernandez (Bb Pilipinas International 2008) , Gwendoline Ruais (Ms. World 2011 1st Princess) and actress Carla Abellana will host the star-studed affair.

A delayed telecast of the pageant will air on June 8 at official TV Partner GMA 7’s SNBO. The girls will also appear on Eat Bulaga, Unang Hirit and the Ryzza Mae Show..

More than 5000 Pro-Earth Run for Environment Protection

More than 5,000 running enthusiasts heeded the call of Earth Day Network Philippines to protect, respect, and oversee the sensible and sustainable care of Mother Earth as they sprinted around Bonifacio Global City for the "Pro‐Earth Run" Saturday morning.

We arrived  on the activity venue at exactly 5:00 am and most of the crowd seems to be very eager to run and make the day one of the memorable run for them.
It was a day of celebration where all the runners had in mind the importance of preserving and caring for the mother earth.


The weather condition for me is good because while we are at Buendia or Gil Puyat Ave. bridge until we go back on the starting line we experience  a little cloudiness in the sky and a bristle of raindrops that touches our skins which gives us more strength and energy  to finish the race.
Earth Day Network Philippines President Bert Guevarra said the  fun run is a kick‐off activity for the 2014 Earth Day Celebration on April 22, 2014.
"We want to promote earth day everyday, everywhere for everyone. We must have a conscious effort to take good care of our environment everyday," Guevarra said.
The Earth Day Network Philippines, a non‐profit, non‐stock corporation, leads more than two thousand (2,000) entities from different sectors of the Philippines that work towards environmental protection and conservation.

The pro‐earth runners inched and raced one another to the finish line of the 10‐km, 5‐ km, and 3‐km categories. There was also a 1.5‐km run for children dubbed "Run with Doraemon."
The Earth Day Network ambassador Doraemon, with his friends Nobita and Shizuka, also graced the event and entertained the runners before sending them off the starting track.
The pro‐earth run was presented by LifeOil, 100% pure Malunggay extract, and United Parcel Services or UPS.
Carlo Lugtu, executive vice president of Manila Nature’s Link Corporation, the maker of LifeOil, shared that "LifeOil energizes people with active lifestyle, including runners, by replenishing the energy they lose during physically demanding activities. "

And at last , I manage to finish the 10k run despite of having muscle cramps due to almost 2 months of not having exercise and proper training. .
Among those who joined the fun run were celebrities from GMA Artist Center. They said they participated in the event not only because they want to stay fit but also because the run was for a good cause.
