The 13th edition of Miss Philippines-Earth ushers another year of caring for and saving the environment with a new batch of outstanding young ladies from all over the nation and Filipino communities abroad vying for the prestigious crown that symbolizes beauty and responsibility.

Fourty Eight (48) captivating candidates were presented to the members of the media at the poolside of F1 Hotel Manila in the heart of The Fort BGC, Taguig City, and each one proudly representing her hometown and expressing her environmental advocacy. The official candidates were fielded from screenings held in SM Malls in Metro Manila and key provincial cities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

In keeping with the tradition of adopting the environment movement, this year’s pageant theme celebrates the United Nation’s declaration 2013 as the International Year of Water Cooperation, Carousel Productions, Inc.
